Make sure that you place the restrooms so that no matter where a person is working on the site, it will take them ten minutes or less to get to one of the portable toilets.
As always, OSHA standards are the bare minimum for health and safety—you can and often should do more to protect your workers. For example, if you’re working during the summertime, workers will be drinking more water to stay hydrated. In turn, that can put an increased demand on the portable toilets.
